At the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic, I was living in a small village in VietNam, and watching as the world quickly realized the potential of this global threat. The United States was bitterly against stay-at-home orders. These images are based on being 'asleep in the belly of the beast' which implies that perhaps, as a society, we are ignorant in the midst of a crisis.
